1963-82 Drop Spindles with 2 Piece Slotted & Drilled Rotors
This bolt-on kit comes complete with all necessary parts to convert to a big brake and lower the front end of your Corvette at the same time. Our American made billet aluminum drop spindles are equipped with C7 rear hubs. We chose the C7 hub as it's the most economically priced SKF X-Tracker hub (vs C5/6) and can potentially be used with aftermarket ABS systems. The drop spindles are black anodized and are taller then factory increasing roll center for less body roll. The spindles are designed to bolt up to factory ball joints. Your choice of 6 Piston Wilwood Calipers in Anodized Grey, Black or Red and 2 piece slotted and drilled front rotors. Wilwood BP-20 Brake pads and Stainless Steel Flex Lines are included.
Our billet aluminum (6061-T6) spindles are designed for C5/6/7 hubs and will bolt up to the factory ball joints. No need to change to another model brand control arm or ball joint.
Factory steering arms need to be transfered over from your original front wheel bearing assemblies. 1963-68 models will need to drill the 2 mounting holes out from 7/16" to 1/2".
Spindles are designed around a C5/6 Wilwood front brake kit w/SL6 calipers. Factory C5/6 base rotors will also work.
The wheel is spaced outboard approximately 1/16"(.0625).
NOTE: M12-1.5x2.5" Lug studs are used in this kit. You MUST convert to M12-1.5 lug nuts. Min 17" wheel is required.
