Most factory fender small block Corvettes do not need a rear sway bar unless you have an oversized front sway bar (1 1/4 or 1/38), then you need the rear to compensate for the large front bar. Corvettes with 255 or smaller front tires should not use a sway bar larger than 1 1/8". 275 widths can run 1 1/4, 315 tire widths can run 1 3/8 front sway bar. 

Rear sway bars are generally very small on C2-C3 Corvettes even in race applications. Too much rear bar can induce too much oversteer. Rear bars are also personal preference and based on each driver's driving style. Feel free to call or email us about the best sway bar options for your Corvette.
