- New Offset Trailing Arm Assemblies
- Wilwood Calipers w/Pads and Hoses
For our rear disc brake conversions, we use 1965-82 disc brake trailing arms. These offset trailing arms are completely assembled and ready to bolt-on, just make adjustments to the parking brakes. Our kit is coupled with Wilwood D8 4 piston calipers with 3 color options to choose from. Red or Black caliper options are equipped with a slotted and drilled rotor. Black rotors may be shown ONLY as a reference. Due to availability, slotted and drilled rotors may be black or gray.
Offset Trailing Arms allow UP TO a wider wheel and/or tire, depending on the size wheel you choose. Some wheel and tire combos may require a shortened spring. If you want the widest possible wheel and tire package and you plan on staying under 18" wheels, a shorter spring will need to be purchased as well. Our offset trailing arms also come with a spherical bearing and use 7075-T6 aluminum inserts for the nose bushing. This bearing eliminates any bind as the suspension travels through it's range of motion. We've also made the inboard insert (Laser Etched with an "i" to indicate inboard) shorter than the outboard insert (noted with an "O") to allow for more Toe-In for autocross and track cars.
Important Notes
- Aftermarket knock off wheels may not fit. We highly recommend 67' rally wheels for caliper clearance.
- You MUST cut the rear bump stop tabs flush with the side of the frame rail and relocate the rubber bumper inboard. Failure to do so will result in parts failing. On compression the bump stop will hit the caliper and can cause the caliper mounting bracket to brake.
Recommendation:
1963 Corvette; Use PN PB-63CO for Parking Brake Cables
1964 Corvettes; Use PN PB-64 for Parking Brake Cables
