1963-82 Front Coilover Kit w/JRi Shocks

Van Steel designed the lower control arms specifically for JRi shocks. The JRi shock is a double adjustable shock with high speed rebound. We have coupled the shocks with the best springs in the industry, Hyperco! The light weight, strong control arms are constructed with 4130 chromoly tubing. The arms are TIG welded, jig fit and finished with a gloss black powder coat. The upper control arms are built with 6* of positive caster. This improves handling, high speed stability and improved turn in. Delrin bushings and special cross shafts are included. This kit WILL REQUIRE modifications to the upper frame pocket.

JRi Shocks are monotube shocks. Monotube shocks do not package as well as twin tube shocks, meaning monotube shocks are generally longer. Since the shocks are longer, we have a "Special" lower control arm for them. Our lower shock mount is 4" lower than a factory shock. These kits are normally for track driven enthusiasts who want to throw down good, consistent lap times.
