This price is for Van Steel to rebuild YOUR differential. Once torn down, the differential is cleaned in our solvent tank, shot peened, primed and painted. All new bearings, seals, races, clutches, gasket, Lucas fluid and GM additive are part of the rebuild. You can send your diff in with the cover and we will clean and paint it at no additional cost. The differential MUST BE DRAINED before you send it in. The last guy that didn't was out 3 months waiting for the shipping company to deliver it. Includes a copy of our spec sheet showing gear pattern and other info pertaining to your rebuild.
With our Stage 2 rebuild, we add 30 spline inner axles, 30 spline spider gears and a HD (Heavy Duty) carrier cap. The differential housing and posi both get machined for the larger axles. Since our 30 spline axles are no longer a yoke, we include an additional half shaft flange for each half shaft to mate to the inner axle.
Stage 3 steps it up a notch by adding your choice of gear ratio and run a larger 1350 pinion yoke. ARP ring gear bolts are also included. Please note that the drive shaft will need to be changed due to the larger pinion yoke.
