The contact surface of the LCA where the Delrin pad sits, needs to be smoothed out. Rough surfaces or knurls in the aluminum can lead to premature failure of the Delrin pads. These can be noisy, but proper surface preparation and installation the PFTE delrin "should" minimize squeaks. Some customers may experience squeaking noises. See VS-97010 kit for factory style replacements if concerned with noise.
