1984-87 Front Lower Coilover Bracket

The Van Steel Lower Shock Mount is laser cut and CNC bent to fit into the pocket of 84-87 LCA's. We also move the lower shock mount mounting hole down into the control arm and out toward the ball joint. This allows the use a of a longer shock so more shock travel is achieved. A 5/8" ID bearing is required for the lower shock mount and a 1/2" bearing for the top.

Our billet aluminum upper mounts are offset to push the top of the shock outboard just enough to clear the cradle.

If optioned with out sway bar end links, we use FK Bearing rod ends and 2024 CF Hex for our rod end adapters. We also designed Steel Sway Bar Bushings, that are zinc coated, to go into the factory sway bar end link bushing hole and replaces the rubber bushings.

We've tried to make this conversion as simple as possible along with being a bolt in affair. This kit converts the front end to coilovers and eliminates the front composite spring.
