Front Caliper Adapter w/Hardware For C5, Base C6 & C6Z06 Calipers
85-87 - 3 1/2" center to center for the caliper mounting bracket holes (85-87 spindles)
88-96 - 5.25" center to center
- caliper hardware included (M14)
- 8 shims included to shim C6 Zo6 calipers (88-96 only)
- Torque all bolts to 125 ft. lbs, retorque after 50 miles, and again at 1000 miles
- use red loc-tite
- C5 calipers only clear C4 A-mold style wheels, C5+ wheels, or most aftermarket 17" wheels
- must use 18" wheels for C6 ZO6 Calipers
- *Use 97-04 Front Brake Hoses.
Do not fit Wildwood's Bolt on C5 caliper kit
****1984 calipers have same caliper bolt spread, but is undersized for any kind of brake upgrade. For 1984 Corvettes, you should replace your spindles with 1985-1987 spindles (direct bolt on). GM redesigned the front spindles in 1985. DO NOT drill out 84 knuckles to 14mm, the bosses will be too thin.
